  • Treatment: Pixel Resurfacing
  • Purpose: Works to improve the texture and tone of the skin, as well as aiding in the reduction of fine lines and wrinkles.
  • How it works: Pixel resurfacing works by combining ablative and thermal effects to the skin. The micro plasma ablative technology causes a micro-injury to the skin to stimulate epidermal tissue regeneration. Thermal technology through radio-frequency energy reaches down into the dermal layer in the form of heat. This heat causes coagulation of the collagen. These two mechanisms combined results in improved texture, tone, fine lines and wrinkles as well as providing an overall rejuvenation to the skin.
  • Time it takes: 1-2 hours, dependent on the area to be treated
  • Pain level: You may experience a mild to moderate burning sensation
  • Anaesthesia: Not required, as the treatment is non-surgical. Although, a topical numbing cream can be applied pre-treatment to aid discomfort
  • Results: Results are both immediate and progressive, with results continuing to come through 1-3 months after the treatment.
