A chemical peel is a method of skin resurfacing and regeneration, through causing a controlled wound to the skin. This occurs through the application of a selected solution that works to break down the bonds between the skins cells. This then causes a superficial chemical exfoliation to the outer layers of the skin. Helping to induce collagen remodelling, creating a more uniform surface pigment and refining and smoothing the skins overall texture.
